Marc? FYI to Tom - anoncvs is on one of Marcs boxes, and he doesn't read -www, so you might want to CC him directly on reports of it for quicker response-times. /Magnus On Thu, Apr 7, 2011 at 18:11, Tom Lane <tgl@sss.pgh.pa.us> wrote: > Links from pre-git commit messages in the pgsql-committers archives > aren't working today. > > regards, tom lane > > -- > Sent via pgsql-www mailing list (pgsql-www@postgresql.org) > To make changes to your subscription: > http://www.postgresql.org/mailpref/pgsql-www > -- Magnus Hagander Me: http://www.hagander.net/ Work: http://www.redpill-linpro.com/

I've said this before, but since Marc is such an important part of the infrastructure, shouldn't he be subscribed? - -- Greg Sabino Mullane greg@turnstep.com PGP Key: 0x14964AC8 201104091033 http://biglumber.com/x/web?pk=2529DF6AB8F79407E94445B4BC9B906714964AC8 -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- iEYEAREDAAYFAk2gblsACgkQvJuQZxSWSsgz0wCff+rR1EPUXuoTkRL2tOIjCqkL xcYAnjJE263jpv8oOU8S3YFgBvIfA24k =V/lS -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----

Surely more appropriate than, say, forcibly ripping control of services from him via DNS changes? Yes, normally subscribing someone without consent is not approporiate, but this is an extenuating circumstance. If he wants to ubsubscribe, we can can certainly use that as another reason why he should not be in charge of critical pieces of infrastructure. - -- Greg Sabino Mullane greg@turnstep.com PGP Key: 0x14964AC8 201104111129 http://biglumber.com/x/web?pk=2529DF6AB8F79407E94445B4BC9B906714964AC8 -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- iEYEAREDAAYFAk2jHrYACgkQvJuQZxSWSsiJ+QCfcaysbhQ//G2ipxpQjpG+h4LW eoUAnRAY17suhrwPKpi3ti5/xR52Bke5 =F3du -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----

I think we should have a different list for general public sysadmin-type stuff ("server foo seems down", "scheduled downtime for server bar", etc). It is clearly off-charter for pgsql-www, which should be just for, hrm, www-related things. -- Álvaro Herrera <alvherre@commandprompt.com> The PostgreSQL Company - Command Prompt, Inc.
