Обсуждение: ODBC compilation error

Hello,

  I am trying to compile ODBC interface for postgres 7.4 on my Linux machine.

  I untarred the version psqlodbc-08.00.0101
  On execution of configure --with-unixodbc, I get the following error:

    configure: error: unixODBC driver manager not found

 However I do have "unixODBC-2.2.0-5" installed on my machine.

  I would appreciate if any help is provided on this.

If you are using a rpm based system do you have the unixODBC devel package
installed?
