I am wondering why no reply to this query?

No one knows or its a well know limitation to the query tool?

I find it hard to believe there is no way to display long string fields...

I did set the string display option from 256 -> 1024, but no joy...

Comments?

TIZ...

You click on the right edge of the column and push it on the right.

Yes this is a limitation of the editor. You have to select fewer columns or resize the other columns manually to be smaller so that you can drag the column size more to see more visible data. If there are newlines in your data, then you can drag the row down to see the whole string.

Btw I didnt see this email in the group so I am replying to you personally here.

Thanks

well, within the default query pane size, that doesn't do much, But!

your suggestion led me to resize the entire pane, then i could drag it out!!!

So, Thanks and enjoy the SeeGar you won for playing, ... :)
