Re: git clone to "git://git.postgresql.org/git/users/andresfreund/postgres.git" fails

Was able to download the tar, however make-install is taking lot of time. (running for days now)

 

Any idea how long it takes to make install?

You can't use ssh, unless Andres gives you access.  But the git:// URL
works fine for me.  Haven't tried http://.  I suspect your connections
are blocked at the network level or something like that.
