Hi,

Below is a copy of a question I have asked in S.O.

The answers there referred me to the support of pgAdmin, so I am asking here.

Thanks.

I am running pgAdmin 4.1.2 on Windows 7 with PostgreSQL 9.6.2.
I have a database which for simplicity is owned by postgres user. Connecting to the database is easy, but I am unable to run an SQL script in it: The script is actualy schema of the database:

1.    I have created the database (named cb-ors)

2.    I have connected to the database successfully.

3.    Right click on the database -> Query Tool

4.    In the query tool window I have clicked Select file icon (upper left)

5.    In the pop-up window I have clicked the c: icon in order to explore the filesystem and get to the desired SQL file, but then I got the error: Error: [Error5]Access is denied: c:/PGPWDE01. I have no idea what this error means, and also there is no file or folder named PGPWDE01.

As a workaround I am copying and pasting the SQL text into the text window, and then executing, but I would like to execute a whole file.
