Thanks JD for the response. My question is more specific on how to reinstall old binary using apt-get install.

Hi,

You can follow below steps:

1. Stop the cluster .
2. If you have backup of old bin  and postgresql.conf   revert it and start .
3. Or  uninstall and reinstall old binaries again.
