pgpool

Hi,

I need to install the correct version of pgpool on a Suse 10.2 system running PostgreSQL version 8.1.5.

I tried the file  pgpool-3.2-1vl1.i386.rpm  at  http://pgfoundry.org/frs/?group_id=1000055&release_id=1187 but it fails with ‘pgpool: unknown service’.

I wanted to avoid having to build it from source as we plan on putting it on servers in different locations that don’t have a development environment.
