The line you need with postmaster should be like :

postmaster -i -D /PATH/WHERE/FIND/DATA/FILES -S

The /PATH/WHERE/FIND/DATA/FILES must be /var/lib/pgsql/data/ (or
/var/lib/pgsql)

The -i is for allowing clients to connect via TCP/IP
The -S is fot separating postmaster of the console launching it.
