So can anyone suggest an easy way to REINDEX "pg_attribute_relid_attnam_index" (belongs to System Catalog).
I am running 7.4.1 on Red Hat Linux 2.4.21-15.ELsmp kernel. Frequest data loads / deletes is causing this to grow at a fast rate.
This is becoming a concern. I don't want to drop and reimport the whole database everytime.

You were running an old version, weren't you? This should be fixed in 7.4 ...
