find/replace panel disappears when I switch to another window

Hi.
I usually don't type manually the strings I want to replace. Instead I copy them from other programs.
In pgAdmin after you paste the string to find, you need to input the replacement string. However, when the browser tab
losesfocus, the panel disappears. Is there a workaround? Thanks.
