Ya, you have to cast the statement to a
org.postgresql.AbstractJdbc1Statement to call that method

this is an exerpt from grep OID ...

AbstractJdbc1Statement.java:    public long getLastOID() throws
SQLException
AbstractJdbc1Statement.java:            return
((AbstractJdbc1ResultSet)result).getLastOID();
