As soon as every postgres back-end server if closed, it is safe to delete these files. I do a... ps axf | grep -e "[P]ID" -e "[p]ost" ... to check for living back-ends... Is it safe to delete these? They're quite large (around 40MB each) and have a creation date of a couple of days ago.
