I'm running pgAdmin 4 in server mode on my laptop (Debian 8). Is there
any way to log in automatically when I navigate to http://localhost:5050
in my browser?

No, it is not possible to auto-login when you run pgAdmin4 in server mode as it is considered as multi user environment.
If you are the only user then you can opt for desktop mode, For more information check: Link
