Обсуждение: errors in postgresql-8.0.3.zip from 2005-05-12?
Trying to open "postgresql-8.0.3.zip" from 2005-05-12 with "WinZip 8.1 SR-1 (5266)" gives the following error message: ""Cannot open file: it does not appear to be a valid archive". The file "postgresql-8.0.3-binaries-no-installer.zip" from the same date opens OK. I cannot remember having seen this error trying to open previous windows installer zips. Tried to download from 3 different mirrors, but all files gave same error, and file compare showed that the files were identical.
Hello, I can confirm, the archive "postgresql-8.0.3.zip" is not valid. This is a known issue. Dave has uploaded a new ZIP file that is currently propagating to the different ftp mirrors. I'llalso update the torrent for it, so it should be ready in a couple of minutes. //Magnus > -----Original Message----- > From: pgsql-hackers-win32-owner@postgresql.org > [mailto:pgsql-hackers-win32-owner@postgresql.org] On Behalf > Of FRADET Didier > Sent: Friday, May 13, 2005 9:30 AM > To: Knut P. Hi, The file has been re-uploaded to the ftp site. You can retrieve it directly from ftp://ftp.postgresql.org/pub/win32/postgresql-8.0.3.zip now, or wait a few hours for the mirrors to catch up. Apologies for any inconvenience. Regards, Dave > -----Original Message----- > From: pgsql-hackers-win32-owner@postgresql.org > [mailto:pgsql-hackers-win32-owner@postgresql.org] On Behalf > Of Knut P.
