Hello All!

How PostGre keeps datastorage files?

The documentation for postgresql is full of information:

http://www.postgresql.org/docs/8.0/interactive/storage.html

Dmitry,

Postmaster is the postgresql server process. Are you using postgresql
or just researching it for some other purpose? If you are using it,
then when you use pg_ctl or postmaster commands, you are starting the
postmaster process.
