BSD/OS 4.3 is missing the define EAI_ADDRFAMILY as referenced in ip.c. It is marked as obscolete. However, it is still mentioned in the getaddrinfo() manual page. I have filed a bug report with BSDi. BSD/OS 4.2 had it defined. There are other more intresting difference between rfc2553, rfc3493.txt and for instance the SUS specification. Only rfc2553 has EAI_ADDRFAMILY. Only rfc2553 has NI_MAXHOST and NI_MAXSERV. I'm probably forgetting some other things. Kurt
Oh, so this could come up on other platforms. Interesting.
