Обсуждение: pg_dump compatibility between 7.3 and 7.2?
Hi, I've tried to evaluate the compatibility of the current CVS version to our current 7.2.1 version, and noticed that 7.2.xdumps are not compatible with 7.3, not even in cleartext format. Timestamps in 7.2.x are this format: 2002-07-04 15:19:11.363562+02 7.3 expects a timestamp per default in this format: 2002-09-02 08:51:27,223455+02 I found no way to import this database, experimenting with "set datestyle ..." did not help. Will 7.3 really be that incompatibleregarding timestamps? Or is this simply a problem with my current locale? Best regards,Mario Weilguni
Looks like a locale problem to me, Mario... That comma is a non-USA (or oz, uk, canada) decimal separator...
