could u plz. tell me that can i  interface postgreSql as a backend with the front end Visual basic6.0?and give me idea that how can i do that?

There are various Windows-related drivers there including ODBC.

However, if you weren't aware that ODBC was a Microsoft database
connector, can I suggest getting hold of a good book on databases?
