Hello!

I'm working with Postgres 7.4 on Tru64.

When I execute an ecpg program (in an insert on a table), I get this
error:
EYE000: message type 0x5a arrived from server while idle

How can I resolve this?

What do you mean with this? The ecpg program does an insert? Or how do
you use a program in an insert?

Also it would surely help if you could provide a snippet of the code or
even better a small test case.
