[Q] Index creation hangs

Hi,
 
somehow whenever I try to create index, postgres hangs. Any suggestion why (or how to address this)? I added/dropped indices quite often recently, but I'm not sure how that would result this symptom. :-)

Neither are we.  Reproduceable test case please?
