Обсуждение: pg_log

Hello,

is the file pg_log in the $PGDATA directory a transaction log file? Are there
any tools to deal with it
( e.g. to delete it  while postgres is running )

What's about the log file under var/log. Do I have to delete this manually?

(We use postgreSQL 6.4-9)
