Description:

Using apt.postgresql.org,
psql (PostgreSQL) 9.4.4
pgpool-II version 3.3.4 (tokakiboshi)

By running pcp_recovery_node
Stage 2 script will fail..

ERROR:  cannot find xlog functions
STATEMENT:  select pgpool_switch_xlog('/var/wal_archive/localpsql')
ERROR:  pgpool_recovery failed
STATEMENT:  SELECT pgpool_recovery(...

Im a newby and found this:

So it should be fixed long ago, but what do i do now !? I really want to get
online recovery working.

Reporting the problem to the pgpool mailing lists would be a good
idea, this is the bug ML for Postgres.

You are using pgpool-II 3.3.4 which was released in September 2014,
while the bug was fixed in April 2015. The pgpool-II release after
April 2015 is 3.3.7, released in July 2015. In summary, you should
install pgpool-II 3.3.7 if you expect the bug being fixed.
