That's it, it won't install. Where can I find libuuid.so.16. Tried sim
linking. Tried everything i can think of or find documentation for. This bug
has been reported before and posted as fixed. It's not fixed. It's still
broken.

It is in your distro. Install PostgreSQL RPMs with yum, so that they
will pick up the dependencies automagically.

Anyway, libuuid.so.16 comes from uuid package.
