Dear sir,

I installed mapserver a cgi using libpq client library under win2K within t=
omcat. I tried to display postgis layers stored on another host but I got t=
he error message "unknown host name". I don't have any skill in C programmi=
ng. Could you tell me how I have to patch fe-connect.c file ? I really need=
 help. Thank you in advance,

You need to give us a specific, detailed, reproduceable description of
your system or else we can't begin to help you.  It's not even clear
what host name it is trying to use or who is trying to use it.
