I have a problem, a base was deleted with "drop database", I do not have backup or archives ... How can I recover this database? I'm afraid that the answer (to my knowledge) is you're out of luck. Without a backup to recover from, I know of NO mechanismsto recover this data. Well you could try to persuade Hendo to stop working on the hoverboard and move on to the flux capacitor instead...

Once thing will save you is if you had PITR in place, so you can apply logs back to the DB......
If not as Jay said,,,no mechanisms to recover it.

AFAIK, once a database is dropped, it's gone. That's kinda the point in dropping it. So a backup is the surest way to go. Also, since you're going to have start from a fresh restore of your backup, I'd recommend upgrading to a more recent version of Postgres, at least 9.3.x if not the most recent which is 9.3.5. -----Original Message----- From: pgsql-admin-owner@postgresql.org [mailto:pgsql-admin-owner@postgresql.org] On Behalf Of Marcelo Fortes Correa FortesCorrea Sent: December 05, 2014 1:57 PM To: pgsql-admin@postgresql.org Subject: [ADMIN] drop database I have a problem, a base was deleted with "drop database", I do not have backup or archives ...
