pg_standby and compressed archive

Hello !

in order to reduce disk space used by postgresql's archived logs I use the following command for the parameter archive_command :

archive_command = 'gzip -c %p >/u10/pgmi/postgresql/archive/%f.gz'

I have configured a standby database with the contrib module and pg_stanby. My question is : how to tell pg_standby to work with compressed archive ? First of all, is it possible ?

The command which work when archive aren't compressed is like this :
recovery_command = 'pg_standby -t /tmp/trigger_standby /u10/pgmi/postgres_standby/archive %f %p %r 2> pg_standby.log'

Thanks for your help !

Regards,

Joby
