Hi,
Which are the sentences to  run a database reindex from a shell?
This is to schedule the shell in the crontab.
If you have scripts about database maintenance  or you know where can I
find them, please let me know.

Take a look at contrib/reindexdb...


% reindexdb --help
reindexdb reindexes a PostgreSQL database.

Usage:
   reindexdb [options] [dbname]

Options:
   -h, --host=HOSTNAME             Database server host
   -p, --port=PORT                 Database server port
   -U, --username=USERNAME         Username to connect as
   -W, --password                  Prompt for password
   -d, --dbname=DBNAME             Database to reindex
   -a, --all                       Reindex all databases
   -t, --table=TABLE               Reindex specific table only
   -i, --index=INDEX               Reindex specific index only
   -e, --echo                      Show the command(s) sent to the backend
   -q, --quiet                     Don't write any output

Read the description of the SQL command REINDEX for details.
