Обсуждение: Connection refused errors
Hello. I have a problem here with PostGreSQL (7.2.1) (running on Debian 3.0). The database appears to be functioning correctly, but /var/log/syslog is filled with the messages which look like the following: postgres[32066]: [288403] DEBUG: statistics collector process (pid 14965) exited with exit code 1 while /var/log/postgres.log is filled with: postgres -d2 -v131072 -p nvplayer3 PGSTATBUFF: recvfrom(2): Connection re- fused Any suggestions or advice which may lead toward a solution would be greatly appreciated. Thankyou.

You need to be able to connect on 127.0.0.1, or the stats collector
can't start. Is that it?
