I can't access postegresl via ODBC, because 5432 port seems to be closed.
How can I open it?
I'm running postgres 7 on Redhat 7.2

also check postgresql.conf for tcpip_socket=true.

If it's NOT set, set it, and restart your Database cluster.

Was Postmaster started with the -i option. It must be started with that
option to allow TCP/IP connections.
