When defining a Custom Color for a server connection, the definirtion
is not retained.

Steps to reproduce.

1. Right click on a connection, Properties...
2. Click on Colour
3. Click Define Custom Colors >> <--Also note inconsistency between
Colours and Color
4. Set Red=255 Green=170 Blue=85
5. Click on "Add To Custom Colors" button
6. Click OK
7. Click OK
8. Click OK to messages about server settings
9. Close & then re-open PgAdmin
10, Repeat steps 1, 2 & 3.
11. Note the previous defined custom color has not been saved.

You're right. I forgot to handle the custom colours. I created ticket
247 so that we can work on this at a later time
(http://code.pgadmin.org/trac/ticket/247).

About the inconsistency of spelling colours, we can't change how the
system dialog spells colour. So I don't think we can do something about it.

Thanks for your report.
