Well, you'll be interested to know that Stephan's solution worked for bothPostgreSQL and MS SQL Server ... as far as
parsinggoes. On PostgreSQL, thequery took 14 minutes to complete.
On MS SQL Server, it never completed at all. Looks like I will have to take asemi-procedural approach with MS SQL
Serverafter all. Just another evidenceof the superiority of Postgres ...
