It looks like a problem with gdb which doesn't allow to fallow tracking 
application after some operation in pgadmin.
I'll try to reproduce that without gdb to see what will happen with an 
application (hang, segment, something else).

Fedora Core 6, i386, wxGTK-2.8.3 (self compiled)
