DEC alpha/6.3beta problems reported on 'ports'

Hi, all.

This one is only to call the developer's attention to a message I've
posted to psql-ports regarding 6.3 beta problems on DEC alpha /Digital
Unix.

I know that the "medicine men" :-) also read psql-ports, but... just in
case.
