SQL-compatible Object Relational Database Management System (ORDBMS). It is
designed to give small to medium size businesses the power, performance, and
open-standard support they desire.
100% compatible with the PostgreSQL 7.2.1 release, Mammoth PostgreSQL
provides a commercially-supported PostgreSQL distribution for Solaris, MacOS
X and Red Hat Linux x86 platforms.
Mammoth PostgreSQL ships with built-in support for SSL connectivity (Native
and ODBC), as well as programming APIs for C/C++, Perl, and Python. The
Deluxe version of Mammoth also ships with the SQL/XML application server
LXP, which provides high level out-of-the-box developer support for website
integration with PostgreSQL, XML documents, and other web-based programming
solutions (such as PHP, or Perl).
Command Prompt, Inc., provides support, custom programming, and services for
PostgreSQL. Service contracts, as well as time and materials support are
available, allowing for single-point accountability for a customer's
database solution.
There are one-time and subscription-based licensing models available for
immediate purchase.
Version OverView
1.The basic version comes with 15 days installation and configuration
support.
2.If a customer purchases the installed basic version of Mammoth PostgreSQL,
Command Prompt will install Mammoth for the customer. Remote (SSH) access is
required for this option.
3.The deluxe version comes with 30 days installation and configuration
support. The deluxe version also comes with the XML application server, LXP.
4.If a customer purchases the installed deluxe version of Mammoth
PostgreSQL, Command Prompt will install Mammoth for the customer. Remote
(SSH) access is required for this option. The installation option on this
version does not include the installation of updates. If you wish to have
the installation of updates please contact Command Prompt. The installed
deluxe option also ships with LXP
