Hi,
I was looking for a way to send emails in postgres 7.2.3 using the
database itself. I found that 'pgmail' which is a TCL function, can be used
to do this. But When I tried to create the language in my database, I got
the following error:
Error: Load of file /usr/lib/pgsql/pltcl.so failed /usr/lib/pgsql/pltcl.so:
Undefiled symbol: Tcl_CreateSlave
Createlang: Language installtion failed
What could be the problem? I have postgres 7.2.3 installed on Red hat Linux.
I'm using plpgsql for other postgres functions.
Anybody please giv me a solution
