A Database System Architect is responsible for architecting a new design for
an existing complex production database accessed approximately 60,000 times
a day by users all over the world. A database developer will architect,
design, build, and implement RDBMS client/server applications. In addition
to playing a key roll in database design and system architecture, the
Database System Architect will provide leadership to the database management
group.
Requirements
� BSCS required, Master degree preferred
� 5+ years of experience using database development tools
� Proven experience with database planning and performance tuning
� Relational Database Programming (ODBC, SQL-Server), C++, Visual Basic
� Experience with internationalization/localization - SBCS and DBCS
� Client/Server / three-tier architectures
� Extensive experience designing/building database architecture
� Proven Leadership skills
� Proven expertise with database internationalization/localization and
performance tuning of client/server / three-tier architecture applications
will be highly regarded
