Greetings
I am setting up a new postgres cluster and am looking to implement connection pooling with it using pg_bouncer. This is being installed as CentOS 7 using the base postgres 9.2 from the CentOS repository, as this is what we are using on the Centos 5 and 6 servers were we use postgres currently.
What I’m not finding in the base or EPEL Centos repo is pg_bouncer. I see where the
yum.postgres.org repo has pg_bouncer in the Centos 6.5 9.2 repo, and pg_bouncer in the Centos 7 9.3 repo. I would be happy to use a 9.2 repo from
yum.postrgres.org but it there is not one available for Cent 7.
Do you have any advice on where to get a proper packaged version of pg_bouncer for Centos/RHEL 7?
Thank you
Pete Fuller
