when I'm trying to init my database (with initdb), it says me:

  initdb: failed

I've this system configuration:
Windows XP Pro service Pack 1

Cygwin Package Information
Package              Version        Status
cygipc               2.02-1         OK
cygwin               1.5.6-1        OK

and postgresql 7.4.1

can someone explain me what I've to do to fix this ?
