    Yes, this is a known issue (https://redmine.postgresql.org/issues/6301). We have also asked for help in https://gitter.im/nwjs/nw.js?at=57bd5e09cd00bdff6e760a4d.

    What is the setting of Query Tool, try to open it in the same window instead of the new window.  

2. The query editor is treated by W10 as a separate app in the same process. This separate app doesn't have an icon so it is displayed on the taskbar as a red square. (this is only a visual issue, not a bug :) )
