Approving an organization doesn't actually add anything to the site - it just makes it possible to add other thinks like news and events, which will then go through a second round of moderation.

I submitted the release 6 days ago.  Is there a point at which I should expect some type of feedback from a Moderator? 

It's somewhat tied in with an article in progress at Yahoo + other.
