Hi Robert,

As Dave already mentioned that we perform basic sanity with PostgreSQL and EDB(EPAS) servers.

Here are some additional scenarios that you can also use with GreenPlum database testing:
---
1. pgAdmin4 Builds should be working fine on Fresh Virtual machines on all supported platforms windows and MAC OS X
2. If older pgAdmin4 version is available on system then we can install the latest version of pgAdmin4 and can connect to a database server without any issue.
3. We also perform the functional verification of pgAdmin4 all objects (i.e server, server group, database table) and these should be created and deleted with right click and query should be executed successfully with View data option and through query tool windows.

Kindly let us know if you need more information on this?

Kind Regards,

Makes perfect sense.

Electron is the next thing to get picked up by us.

Can you provide any insight into what Fahar does, one of the things
I've discussed is actually testing the installers after they have been
built. We didn't really have a plan for that so much so looking at
what was currently done could help generate some ideas.

Basic sanity testing of the packages on a bunch of different platforms. Things like ensuring it installs, can connect to a database server, that the OpenSSL libs are the latest versions, that the helpfiles can be opened etc.

Fahar, can you elaborate please?
