Which PostgreSQL version are you planing to use for your tests?Sometime back, I have done the performance test for read-write pgbenchon Power8 m/c and came to know that scalability is not good.I am interested to see your tests results especially of HammerDB.
We are planning to use PostgreSQL 9.4.1, and PostgresPlus from EnterpriseDB
for comparison perhaps we will run MariaDB or Mysql as well.
Benchmarking that we will use is pgbench and HammerDB. it is TPC-B and TPC-C
