I believe Tatsuo was talking about the author field on the commitfest app, not the cfbot. Assuming I'm correct there, I think for the link you shared simply no Author was added when the user created the entry. In the next commitfest release (March 4th), that should not happen anymor (or at least not by accident) because then it will start to autofill yourself as author when you submit a patch.
