createuser root
[root@main /root]# su -l postgres
bash-2.04$ /usr/local/pgsql/bin/createuser root
Shall the new user be allowed to create databases? (y/n) y
Shall the new user be allowed to create more new users? (y/n) y
CREATE USER
Now user root - postgresql superuser.
