Hello list,
I received a dataset which has a wrong character encoding. It claims to be WIN1252, but it is not, since the german
'umlaute'are not shown right, e.g. 'ü' is \203\201 if i transform it to a byte array.
- the server has 8.4.4,
- the database has 'UTF8' encoding and the locales are set to 'German_Germany.1252'
What do I proceed to correct the german 'umlaute'?
