libpq.so.3 is part of the libpq3 rpm.
As i compiled it on Mandriva linux 2005LE, it can be that in 2006
libpq3 has become libpq4.
The easiest solution:
as root do: ln -s /usr/lib/libpq.so.4 /usr/lib/libpq.so.3
next, install the rpm.
I'll see what I can do to change this dependency in the rpm package.
