connection or database saving problem with glom (Msg-ID: resent-<20050415013227.P5287@ganymede.hub.org>)

ok..so far i have compiled 8.02 and the previous 7.4.7 and both times
psql will permit creation of a database with CREATE DATABASE
dbname...etc....and so on....but on glom when trying to interface to
postgres....no matter what i enter...i can't create a database in my
home folder ...i don't know if it is a connection error with the
database server or if for some reason glom or postgres doesn't have
permission to create the file in my home folder....any ideas would help.
