Variadic "any" fix

Committers,<br /><br /> The variadic "any" fix has been lurking in the queue for a while. I personally confirmed the
bug,and it's one I'd love to see fixed.<br /><br /> I just tested the patch out quickly and did a build to verify that
itdoesn't break Windows. Is there any chance someone can pick it up and commit it for 9.3?<br /><br /><a
