Except for one "localhost", one "/tmp/.s.PGSQL..." and the "543x" lookup 
during the postmaster start, all lookups are IP addresses with 
AI_NUMERICHOST set. And we have checked with tcpdump that the box really 
does not issue DNS lookups.
