I post to the odbc list because ODBC users are mostly windows users
as well :) - sorry for the inconvenience.

I installed the latest cygwin including postgresql.

Everything is just fine, even the database is created on the path (see
example below).

But when trying to start postmaster an error happens.
The service installed wouldn't start as well.

Everything is done as the latest readme, the new cygipc replacement is
installed and running, etc....

Ideas found on internet sites are not working.

OS is Win2000 Server.
